Tasty but different

Eating healthy is a way of life here at W-Active so we thought we would share one of our favourite salad mix-ups!

Strawberry and Ham Salad


  • 150g Smoked Ham
  • 1 cup sliced Strawberries  
  • (can add more if desired)
  • Handful torn Basil Leaves
  • Handful of Spinach
  • 1-2 tbsp. of flaked almonds 
  • Handful of torn Mint Leaves
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt and pepper 


  1. Slice strawberries and put into bowl with mint leaves, basil leaves, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  2. Toss in spinach leaves and ham and mix with hands.
  3. Place in a bowl and add the sliced almonds and salt and pepper
