Fish Cakes

Great way to get you protein fix in the shape of these convenient little fish cakes.

Fish Cakes


  • 415 gram Pink Salmon
  • 415 gram of Tuna
  • 3 tbsp of Butter
  • 4 tbsp of Flour
  • 1 Onion grated
  • Cup of Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp of Milk
  • 2 cloves of crushed Garlic
  • Splash of Hot Sauce
  • tsp of Tomato Paste
  • Sprinkle of Smoked Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper



  1. Drain the Tuna and Salmon and reserve the liquid 
  2. Add the milk to the fish in a large mixing bowl
  3. Add onion, garlic, sauce, paste, paprika and seasoning
  4. Mix well with hands
  5. Roll into small balls (well in palm size) and roll in the bread crumbs
  6. Place on lined tray and then push down with a fork to flatten out the ball slightly. 
  7. Pre heat olive oil to medium temp and cook the cakes until golden brown.
  8. Serve immediately 

Will make approx 18-30 balls
